Custom Kayak & Paddleboard Racks — Built strong.
Built to last.

Eliad Woodworks hand-builds kayak, canoe, and paddleboard racks sized to your dock, your yard, and your fleet — pressure-treated frames, marine-grade padding, no two builds the same.

Recent Builds

Every rack is cut for one dock, one fleet.

We don't sell a catalog size. We measure your posts, count your hulls, and build the frame around them.

Double Kayak

A raised cradle for a fishing kayak, topped with a flat canopy shelf for a paddle, cooler, or second small craft — built directly onto the client's existing dock decking.

Tiers: 2 Frame: 4x4 and 2x4 Padding: Marine carpet Anchoring: Deck-bolted

Three-Tier Fleet Rack

A ground-set rack for a mixed fleet — two kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard — with open rails so gear drains and dries between trips.

Tiers: 3 Capacity: 3 hulls Frame: 2x4

What Goes Into It

Built from what holds up on the water.

Frame

Pressure-treated pine

Ground-contact rated 4x4 posts and 2x4 rails, sized to the load of your specific fleet, not a one-size frame.

Padding

Marine-grade crossbar carpet

Wrapped and stapled crossbars protect gelcoat and hull plastic from rub and scuff on every landing.

Hardware

Stainless & hot-dip galvanized

Every bolt, lag, and bracket is rated for standing water and salt air exposure.

Finish

Sealed or left to grey naturally

We'll seal for a longer clean look, or leave it raw if you want that driftwood patina over time.

How a Build Runs

From a phone call to a finished rack.

01

Walk the site

We come to your dock, seawall, or yard and measure posts, decking, slope, and water line — not just the boats.

02

Rough the cut list

You get a spec sheet like the one above: mount type, tiers, footprint, and an estimate before any wood is cut.

03

Build & fit

Frames are cut, padded, and either shop-assembled or built directly in place, depending on access.

04

Load & walk through

We set your kayaks, canoes, or boards ourselves and walk you through loading and unloading before we leave.

From the Water

What clients say after the first season.

★★★★★

"They measured our dock twice before cutting anything. Two seasons in, the frame hasn't budged an inch."

— Dock rebuild, Gulf Coast
★★★★★

"We needed room for two kayaks and a paddleboard with zero dock space to spare. The three-tier layout solved it."

— Freestanding shoreline rack
★★★★★

"Padding on the crossbars alone was worth it — no more gelcoat scuffs from the old rack."

— Single-lift dock rack
